Everywhere at once festival- Peggy McCools

Kick starting the ‘Everywhere At Once Festival’, a weekend packed with gigs in countrywide participating venues, Clancy and Containers performed two brilliant sets at iconic Warrington venue - Peggy McCools.

Despite the heat, it was lovely to see how many people came to support these bands and this phenomenal venue. If you’ve never been to Peggy McCools, I’d highly recommend it.

Containers Set

Containers were next, a very well-known and popular band in the Warrington music scene. Their presence on stage was charismatic and confident, showing their experience and talent in gigging and performance.

Throughout their set, the audience was engaged, singing along and dancing to the tracks they knew and swaying along to the ones they didn’t. They also interacted well with their audience, pointing out familiar faces and dedicating a song to one of their friends, showing their care for those that support them.

Containers have also developed into a more rock-based sound, compared to their earlier performances, a switch that suits them much better, as seen with tracks such as Dead Forever.

What was really nice to see after the gig was both Clancy and Containers talking with their fans and supporting each other. This connection is a novelty rarely seen outside of grassroot scenes, which is a shame, but it’s always great to see. This was an excellent gig and solidified the tight connections built in and around this industry. If you don’t already, go and follow both bands and keep an eye out for their gigs and music.
