Everywhere at once festival- Peggy McCools

Kick starting the ‘Everywhere At Once Festival’, a weekend packed with gigs in countrywide participating venues, Clancy and Containers performed two brilliant sets at iconic Warrington venue - Peggy McCools.

Despite the heat, it was lovely to see how many people came to support these bands and this phenomenal venue. If you’ve never been to Peggy McCools, I’d highly recommend it.

Clancy's Set

Starting off the evening was Clancy, an alt-rock band from Warrington, who are quite established with a growing audience. I’d never seen them live before, so I was really looking forward to their set.

On opening, it was clear how tight they were musically and how enthusiastic they are about performing. The crowd was engaged, getting involved in the music, moving to the tunes, and staying focused on the band.

The last song of their set brought a lot of attention and enthusiasm from the audience. This was likely because it was heavier and slightly catchier, allowing new fans to get involved and latch onto their music. Clancy’s set was a brilliant opener to both this gig and the gigs to follow at Peggy McCools during the ‘Everywhere At Once Festival’.
